I’m 17 years young, a student from Mary the Queen College, you can call me Elea. I am under the strand of humanities and social sciences. Elea Yvonne Danan Gutierrez is my full name. I plan to pursue my dream to become a successful psychiatrist I see myself work in lined with medical works. I have 1 older sister, Elea Nicole; Eleazar and Ofelia are my parents, so far I’ve been proud to my achievements I attained since jhs: Campus Journo, Top Achiever, Org. President. Although everything’s quite hard I have been managing my time and focus to what I love. This is me welcome to my page.

THE GREAT HACK REFLECTION
Indeed technology is power! As I reflect to the documentary we watched for our Media Information Literacy, I’ve seen how vulnerable I am to be gullible.
The documentary title ‘The Great Hack’ made me realize how internet opens my mind to a lot of phases in the world. Focusing on how the current President of U.S.A. , Donald Trump won, facebook was said to be connected by gathering a lot of data without owner’s permission or consent. As watching further it made me want to refrain myself using too much social medias. I remembered reporting this news as a part of radio broadcasting team before, and now after watching the documentary it enlightened me.
It might sound cliché but ‘think before you click’, is the best awareness and reminder we can apply to ourselves. Looking for the perks and disadvantages of any websites we open might help us, and also reading the policy terms can lead us to understanding how to manage and use media wisely.
